At Robin Knight Counseling we work with all ages, school age children through adults. Our focus is on addressing trauma, grief and loss, as well as life stage transitions. I also work with individuals who have been adopted, or were in foster care, helping them to put the pieces together and look at their entire life story. I also work with families that have adopted or are going through the adoption process, helping them to see that their child/youth's behaviors may be related to their earlier life experiences and losses; giving families alternative ways of responding to their child’s challenging behaviors; providing ways of healing some of these earlier attachment wounds. I have been a foster and adoptive parent and I have 30+ years of experience in child welfare. I am an NTI graduate - Adoption Competent Clinician, LPC, NCC
